Sidhu Moosewala’s parents remember the singer on his second death anniversary.
Today, on May 29, Sidhu Moosewala’s mother, Charan Kaur, shared a poignant message on Instagram in remembrance of her son. She posted a heartfelt photo of herself with Sidhu, where he lovingly wrapped his arm around her shoulder, both of them smiling warmly at the camera.
In the emotional note, originally written in Punjabi, she expressed, “Dear son, 730 days, 17,532 hours, 1,051,902 minutes, and 63,115,200 seconds have passed since you left our home’s threshold. The fruit of my prayers was taken by our enemies as evening fell, plunging us into a darkness that even the faintest hope could not dispel.”
She went on to write, “But son, Guru Maharaj knew your thoughts and dreams, so I am blessed with you. Your father, little brother, and I will always keep your spirit alive in this world. Though I cannot see you physically, I have felt your presence for these past two years. Today is a particularly difficult day, my son.” The post included crying emojis in the caption.

Sidhu Moosewala’s father, Balkaur Singh, has requested fans not to travel to their village. In a statement to ANI, he mentioned that they are hosting an intimate religious gathering and urged fans to avoid traveling from outside Moosa, Sidhu’s hometown, due to the harsh summer heat. Singh explained that the program would be very simple because of the ongoing elections and high temperatures. He emphasized that only the villagers and family members would attend, and public attendance was discouraged. “Only the religious rituals will be performed,” he added.
