JioCinema has announced that actor Anil Kapoor will replace Bollywood star Salman Khan as the host of Bigg Boss OTT 3.
On Friday, JioCinema shared a new promo for Bigg Boss on Instagram, featuring a person walking through a room as scenes from previous seasons play in the background. Anil Kapoor is then shown ordering a chair, though his face remains unseen.
The Mr. India actor whistles and says, “Kursi manga re. (Get the chair),” to which someone in the background responds, “Sir, Jhakas.” Kapoor then replies, “Bahot hogaya re jhakas.. Karte hai na kuch aur khas. (Enough of Jhakas, let’s do something special).”
As the actor delivers his lines, he takes a seat, with his face remaining unseen in the promo.
Earlier this month, JioCinema released a teaser for Bigg Boss OTT 3, hinting that Anil Kapoor might replace Salman Khan as the host.

The teaser, shared on Instagram, announced that Bigg Boss would begin streaming in June.
Originally scheduled to start in May, the show faced delays for unknown reasons.
The change in the host comes amid reports that Salman Khan might miss this season due to scheduling conflicts.
Other actors considered for the hosting role reportedly included filmmaker Karan Johar and Sanjay Dutt, in addition to Anil Kapoor.
However, a previous teaser featuring Kapoor’s iconic ‘Jhakaas’ catchphrase has intensified speculation that he is confirmed as this season’s host.
