The wedding of Action King Arjun Sarja’s daughter, Aishwarya Arjun, and comedian Thambi Ramaiah’s son, Umapathy Ramaiah, has been a hot topic recently. Over the past week, social media has been abuzz with pictures and videos from the couple’s pre-wedding festivities, including the haldi and mehendi ceremonies. In the latest update, the charming couple has finally tied the knot in a traditional, intimate ceremony in Chennai. Umapathy looked dapper in a traditional all-white dhoti and shirt, while Aishwarya dazzled in a beautiful red saree, adorned with exquisite jewelry. Check out the photos from their wedding below:
Similar to the haldi and mehendi functions, the wedding was an intimate affair, attended by close friends and family of the newlyweds.
Aishwarya Arjun and Umapathy Ramaiah’s pre-wedding celebrations began on June 7th with the haldi and mehendi festivities. For the haldi, the bride wore a simple yet elegant white anarkali dress with minimal makeup and accessories.
For the mehendi, she donned a beautiful, vibrant yellow Anamika Khanna outfit accessorized with golden earrings, while the groom looked classy in a black outfit.

Following the wedding, Pinkvilla has exclusively learned that the wedding reception is scheduled for Friday, June 14th. According to the invitation, the ceremony will take place at Leela Palace in Chennai at 6:30 pm.
Aishwarya Arjun and Umapathy Ramaiah met on the reality show Survivor, which was hosted by Aishwarya’s father, Arjun Sarja. The duo quickly bonded, and their friendship blossomed into a relationship. They officially got engaged in October last year in the presence of their closest friends and family.
On the work front, Aishwarya Arjun made her debut in 2013 with the Tamil film Pattathu Yaanai, directed by Boopathy Pandian and starring Vishal in the lead role. She also appeared in the Hindi-Tamil bilingual film Prema Baraha/Sollidava, directed by her father and featuring Chandan Kumar in the lead.
Umapathy Ramaiah debuted in 2017 with the film Adhagappattathu Magajanangalay, directed by Inbasekhar, and was last seen in the 2021 film Thanne Vandi.
