According to a report in a popular newspaper it was alleged that the actress broke her wrist over the weekend.Despite the injury, she was determined to continue her tradition of attending Cannes. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan met with doctors and specialists in Mumbai before traveling to the French Riviera. It appears that the actress will undergo surgery in the coming days. During her recent appearances in the city, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was seen with her hand in a cast.

During the 77th Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended the screenings of two films: “Megalopolis” and “Kinds Of Kindness.” She is representing cosmetic giant L’Oreal Paris as their global spokesperson at the festival.
