Glamour, Elegance, and Iconic Faces Illuminate Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi’ Premiere
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s OTT debut with web series, “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,” is getting lots of buzz before it hits Netflix on May 1st. Recently, Bhansali threw a big premiere in Mumbai, with loads of Bollywood stars showing up to support.
The event was a glam affair, with everyone posing for pics and having a good time. Bhansali himself was a gracious host, and we got a sneak peek of the fun from some exclusive photos shared on social media. It’s clear that excitement is building up for the show, especially with big names like Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Rekha showing their support at the premiere.
Netflix India’s Instagram handle posted some nice photos from the event. One image showed Salman Khan and Bhansali in a good mood, which made fans happy. They were worried about any fight between them after their movie got canceled. The actor was seen wearing a black shirt and jeans for the night.

In another photo can be seen Alia Bhatt dressed in a beautiful white outfit, came with her mom Soni Razdan and mom-in-law Neetu Kapoor. They all looked stunning, flashing big smiles for the cameras. Alia, who starred in Bhansali’s “Gangubai Kathiawadi,” won a National Award last year.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali makes his digital debut with “Heeramandi,” a series set in 1940s British India, promising a gripping tale of love, power, and freedom. A talented cast brings the period drama to life, featuring Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Sharmin Segal.
