A new report unveils Kapil Sharma’s hefty fees for The Great Indian Kapil Show, along with co-stars Archana Puran Singh and Sunil Grover’s earnings. Reportedly, Kapil Sharma’s fee for 5 episodes of The Great Indian Kapil Show stands at a staggering Rs 26 crore, averaging over Rs 5 crore per episode. Sunil Grover, making a comeback after seven years, is said to be charging Rs. 25 lakh per episode.
Reportedly, Archana Puran Singh, known for her spot in the audience, is allegedly earning Rs 10 lakh per episode. Additionally, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur are said to be receiving Rs 10 lakh, Rs 7 lakh, and Rs 6 lakh, respectively, according to the report.
The Great Indian Kapil Show debuted on Netflix on March 30th and has since broadcast five episodes. Starting with the Kapoors—Ranbir, Neetu, and Riddhima—Kapil has also welcomed the team behind Amar Singh Chamkila, featuring Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra, and Imtiaz Ali. Most recently, he played host to Aamir Khan.
Archana Puran Singh recently took to her Instagram stories to share a snapshot of a cake from The Great Indian Kapil Show set and wrote caption “Season Wrap.”
During a discussion with media, Archana elaborated on the potential end of the show, “ Yes, we have wrapped up the shoot of season one of TGIKS; we shot the last episode of the season yesterday,” she said and then added, “It was great fun and celebration on the sets. The journey so far on the show has been quite amazing. It was a delightful journey and we had some amazing times on the sets.”
With his earnings from Netflix, Kapil is speculated to be among the top-paid comedians in television today.
