Ibrahim Ali Khan secures a film alongside his sister Janhvi Kapoor following Khushi's footsteps?

According to reports, a romantic comedy akin to ‘Main Tera Hero’, starring Varun Dhawan, Ileana D’Cruz, and Nargis Fakhri, is in the works. Shashank Khaitan, known for the ‘Dulhania’ series and ‘Dhadak’, will direct, with co-production by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Sources close to the production revealed, “Ibrahim, Janhvi, and Mahima have signed on for a romantic comedy together.” The script and casting are finalized, with pre-production underway and filming slated to begin next year. The insider disclosed, “Although the project is in its early stages, it’s confirmed to be a love triangle involving these three actors. It will echo the plot of ‘Main Tera Hero’, with each actor having equal roles, blending romance and comedy. Ibrahim’s character will have a distinctive lisp.”

Further details regarding the additional cast and crew remain undisclosed.

It’s worth noting that Khan has recently completed filming his second project with Janhvi’s sister, Khushi Kapoor, and Suniel Shetty.
