Karan Johar makes a surprising announcement about his upcoming project, “Dhadak 2,” starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. This revelation comes after more than a year since Karan refuted rumours of Dharma Productions’ involvement in the sequel’s production.
On Monday, Karan took to Instagram and shared a motion poster featuring Siddhant and Triptii Dimri. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the film is set to hit theaters on November 22, 2024. The post shows Siddhant and Triptii’s characters embracing each other.

Last year, when news surfaced about Karan’s involvement in “Dhadak 2” with Siddhant and Triptii, he refuted the reports. He took to Instagram Stories to express his denial. “To put this on the record and for all concerned, we (Dharma Productions) are NOT making a film with the title DHADAK 2 as is being reported in various articles…”
“Dhadak,” a romantic film from 2018, was written and directed by Shashank Khaitan. It was produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Apoorva Mehta under the Dharma Productions banner, with Zee Studios as a sponsor producer. The movie is a remake of the 2016 Marathi film “Sairat” by Nagraj Manjule. “Dhadak” stars Ishaan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Ankit Bisht, Shridhar Watsar, Kshitij Kumar, and Aishwarya Narkar.
