Nancy Tyagi’s Dream Diary: Creating Sonam Kapoor’s Distinctive Fashion Statement

Fashion influencer Nancy Tyagi is making waves globally after her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2024. She showcased a stunning DIY ensemble, garnering praise from the fashion community. Notably, actor Sonam Kapoor honored Tyagi by sharing one of her DIY reels on her Insta Story and requesting Tyagi to design an outfit for her.

Nancy expressed her immense gratitude, feeling honored by Sonam Kapoor’s recognition on Instagram. In an interview with Hindustan Times, she described the experience as beyond her wildest dreams. she said, “Sonam Kapoor itni badi celebrity hain, unhone mere liye Instagram par story lagaayi hai, it’s a very big thing for me. Main soch bhi nahi sakti. I am falling short of words.”

Speaking about her time at Cannes, particularly on the red carpet, Nancy shared with Hindustan Times“It was amazing to be there, and thankfully, sab kuch achhe se ho gaya. I met everyone who went from India at the gala dinner, from influencers to actors, I enjoyed a lot. The red carpet experience was great, and I can’t believe I got to see all the Hollywood stars live with my own eyes. I never thought something like this would ever happen in my life. Main ek chhote se sheher se hoon, I did not expect this popularity and fame would come to me at such a young age.”

When asked how she makes videos at home and if her mother helps, Nancy explained her mother doesn’t sew. She remembered sewing clothes for her dolls as a child, showing her love for sewing. Nancy said her brother helps film and edit her videos while she sews. She also mentioned learning new stitching techniques from YouTube.

Apart from several influencers making their Cannes debut, Bollywood celebrities such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kiara Advani, Urvashi Rautela, and other celebs walked the red carpet this year.
