Reportedly, Kiara Advani has joined Prabhas in Salaar 2

Kiara Advani, known for her role in Don 3, is said to have joined the cast of Salaar 2 alongside Prabhas, according to recent reports. Director Prashanth Neel, who helmed the blockbuster Salaar: The Ceasefire, is reportedly featuring Advani as the female lead in the sequel. Additionally, Advani is set to appear in a special song sequence with Prabhas. While Shruti Haasan starred as the female lead in the first installment released in December 2023, Advani’s inclusion in Salaar Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam has been confirmed, as per reports. Haasan, on the other hand, has secured a role in BAFTA Award-winning director Philip John’s rom-com film ‘Chennai Story.’

Variety, the US entertainment news agency, revealed that ‘Chennai Story’ follows a boy’s quest to find his father following his mother’s demise, aided by detective Anu, portrayed by Shruti Haasan. Meanwhile, Kiara Advani is currently engaged in several projects, including S Shankar’s action drama Game Changer, featuring Ram Charan.

She’s recently joined the esteemed YRF spyverse and is presently on set for the eagerly awaited “War 2” alongside Hrithik Roshan. Additionally, she’s set to dazzle audiences in “Don 3,” marking her first collaboration with Ranveer Singh.

Rumor has it she’s commanding a staggering INR 130 million for Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming project, surpassing even her fee for “War 2” co-starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR.

In “Salaar Part 1: The Ceasefire,” starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan, she shared the screen with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, and Sriya Reddy. The film’s massive global earnings of over INR 5 billion paved the way for a sequel, promising a deeper exploration of Prabhas and Prithviraj’s characters amid Khansaar’s political upheaval.
